Stonehenge Badminton Club’s Adam Grant gained revenge for his recent defeat
by Peter Liversage in the final of the Wiltshire under 15 boys singles championships by winning the under 15 boys singles
title at the Salisbury & District Badminton Championships last weekend. Adam won the latest encounter by beating Peter
in the final 15-9, 15-11. In the doubles event, Peter Chapman & Jordan Palmer ensured that Adam and his partner Thomas
Lea would not repeat their county success and subsequently despatched the county champions 15-12, 15-10. There were two titles
apiece for Hazel Sutton in the under 13 girls events and Jason Plant in the under 18 boys events. The annual championships
held at Amesbury Sports Centre were dominated by players from the Stonehenge Badminton Club.
